WELCOME TO AUTUMN AUCTION FOR HOPE

JBWS PROUDLY PRESENTS ITS 9TH ANNUAL FALL FUNDRAISER!

Whether you're joining us in person or virtually, Autumn Auction for Hope is an energetic event offering participants the opportunity to bid on new apparel, accessories, jewelry, new and gently-used designer handbags, experiences, home décor items, and more through a silent auction, a ticket raffle, and a selection of instant buy items. A few surprises await as well!

SAPPHIRE CELEBRATION is our theme this year in honor of JBWS' 45th Anniversary of providing safety, support and solutions for abuse.

In-person attendees will enjoy a delightful luncheon and a program featuring stories from survivors who will share their journeys of hope.  Attire is business or business casual; dark denim is permitted.  Sapphire colors encouraged!

Virtual participants can view our event video that will be featured on this site and can participate in the silent auction, raffle, and instant buys. For virtual participants to claim their winnings at the end of the event, you will be contacted by JBWS staff to arrange for delivery of your items.  Shipping charges may apply to out-of-area deliveries.

Please note that we strive to present an enjoyable and safe event so that we may raise critical funds we need for our mission. As such, the format of the event may be modified to comply with COVID-19 protocols.

For the SILENT AUCTION, click on an item to place your bid.  If you're outbid, you will get a text notification.  If you choose, you can click on Auto Bid on the item and GiveSmart will do the bidding for you up to your chosen maximum amount.

INSTANT BUYS - Items #301-568

Instant Buy items have a purple BUY NOW banner on them, and you can do just that - buy it now!  

RAFFLE - Items #800-899

Raffle items have a black RAFFLE banner on them.  Take your chance at winning one of these items by clicking on one you like and select the number of "tickets" you want to "drop" (purchase).  The more "tickets" you purchase, the less the cost of the ticket.  Winners will be posted here on the site before the end of the event.

Founded 45 years ago, JBWS is the only agency of its kind in Morris County whose sole purpose is the prevention of domestic violence through the protection and empowerment of the victims, the rehabilitation of family members, the advocacy for social change to prevent partner violence and the education of the public about domestic violence and its consequences. Over the years, JBWS has received both local and national attention for its vital services. Business leaders, as well, have recognized JBWS as a premier agency that addresses the issues of domestic violence.

At the heart of JBWS' success are its life-saving services. Here, families hurting from abuse can get help through a 24-hour helpline; The Arbour House - a confidential safe home for women and children that provides counseling; and The Simon House - a transitional living resource center providing life skills education, vocational counseling, and financial awareness programs. JBWS also provides legal and court accompaniment services, counseling for abusers, community/professional education and dating abuse prevention programs. Through these bilingual, comprehensive services, families receive the special help they need to put domestic violence behind them and begin new, self-sufficient lives. JBWS is also the lead agency for the Morris Family Justice Center in Morristown, a coordinated one-stop resource provided by multiple service agencies.
